Biography
Born in 1982, ZIONE99 began painting in 1999. He specializes in characters and backgrounds on many murals, both solo and in collaboration, and later attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design du Havre, where he graduated with a DNSEP in 2007. His work, influenced by graffiti, Impressionism, Fauvism, Expressionism, and graphic arts, took on a contrasting abstract aesthetic from 2016 onward, characterized by intense colors, with aerosol paint as his primary medium, though not exclusively.
Whether on canvas, paper, wood, concrete, or fabric, he installs his graphic patterns, colored vapors, and emotional gestures to infuse the world with his vibrations. Whether musical, organic, or astral, they serve as a concrete ode to the liberation of space, time, body, heart, and mind through textured abstraction imbued with urbanity.
