Lina Husseini

Lina Maalouf Husseini is a self-taught artist who lived in both Lebanon and France. As a result, her work reflects a unique blend of influences from the East and West.

This fusion manifests as a form of transcendence in her art, bridging diverse cultures and sensibilities. In her experimentation with materials, colors, and compositions, she takes ordinary elements and situates them in unfamiliar contexts. Her approach questions how people usually see everyday things. 

Her artworks feel positive, suggesting a sense of freedom from society's rules.

Lina Maalouf Husseini's pioneering innovation lies in the unconventional use of PVC as her primary medium Working at high temperatures, she skillfully manipulates the materials. The meticulous handcrafted sculptural works.

She exhibited in Lebanon as well as the United States and France. She has also participated in auctions dedicated to humanitarian causes.

Her sculpture "Together" is part of the permanent collection of the Peoria Riverfront Museum. in Peoria, llinois.
