Biography
“Soothing paintings with clean lines to reconnect with yourself and the beauty of our world.”
My life journey did not only begin with joy and good humor. Soon, illness and death struck our family. Today, despite the difficulties I faced in the past, I am proud of the person I have become and grateful for the life I currently lead. At forty, I experienced a rebirth. I found love, I have an adorable daughter and painting allowed me to find a fabulous inner balance that I wish for everyone.
When I paint, I feel alive. When I create, I am overcome by a very particular energy which brings me tranquility and immense happiness. I feel at peace with the past, happy with the present and confident about the future.
Today, I firmly believe that happiness is a state of mind. It depends on our ability to see beauty where it is: beauty of nature, inner beauty of people, beauty revealed by music, painting, dance... It's all a question of gaze, of point of view on life .
I like to paint semi-abstract landscapes filled with serenity as well as more abstract compositions inspired by the beauty of nature. I look for harmony of colors and shapes before integrating more graphic elements, collages or drawings inspired by the plant world, minerals, etc.
My paintings are the result of a creative process during which I allow myself to let go and express all these emotions and images that are engraved in my mind. It's like a window open to my feelings and which shows who I am.
